Muquifo

Muquifo is inspired by the beauty of the famous handmade Brazilian carpets and composed by more than five thousand strips of bikini residues, no longer useful in the production process.

The union of handcrafts with a contemporary chair, values this old technique popular on Brazilian culture, besides expanding the regional handcrafts and attracting new consumers.                                         

The project establishes partnerships with craftsmen, leaving aside the commercialization of their products in an informal way.
